Zeph. 3:17 – The Lord your God… will rejoice over you with singing
The Lord is singing over you right now. Bask in the romantic moment as He reveals what has been on His mind, all the wonderful thoughts about you
Ps. 139:17-18 – How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand…
What kind of song do you think He’s singing? What genre do you think it’s in? Listen to Him now and ask Him to let you hear a piece of it. Write down what you hear:
Mine: Listen to the fireflies; hear the song I sing. They may not make a sound, but I know it’s what you need. Don’t get overwhelmed in all the things you do; sit down and listen to My song that’s just for you.
What’s Yours?
Share in the comments below, and if you feel like an overachiever today, write out a lyrical response to Him.
These children in my care, the hum of the dishwasher, fresh fruit on the table, the green out the windows, “Shake” by MercyMe on the radio reminding me that I don’t have to succumb to what threatens to overwhelm me, but that the battle is the Lord’s, praise His Name, and fellow believers (you!) asking for glimpses of Him that spur me on to have eyes to see Him. Thank you. Both of you?

Have never ever had this thought before now. I suppose it is the sound of water trickling from a garden fountain in the cool of the morning while clutching a warm cup of coffee as the birds dance and sing. I love that the Psalms remind us that we are loved more than we can fathom or possible understand.
